Looking up at the monitor I was surprised by the woman looking back at me. She looked slender and happy. Without thinking I voiced my thoughts. “I like your monitor, it makes me look thin.”
The pizza man behind the counter looked up and with a confused voice replied, “But you are thin.”
Three months later I still think about that moment.
